Brident Dental & Orthodontics
Reviews
The last time I had gone to Brident, I waited for an hour past my appointment because there weren't enough doctors. This time though there was only a 15 minute wait. But, after the x-rays, the dentist looked at me and declared that I needed 8 fillings, and best of all, it would only take 40-60 minutes and they could do it right then. Some quick math later, I realized that was SEVEN minutes per filling. Either this guy was super skilled, did shoddy work, or the cavities so small that they required no anesthesia. I decided to come in next week. They then proceeded to pressure me to sign a contract to cover the payments. Warning bells are going off in my head. They quickly led to me to payment window without receiving a cleaning or fluoride treatment and took my money for services rendered. As I left, I noticed 15 people waiting for their appointments in the waiting room; I wondered how the heck they could find the time for 8 fillings with so many people waiting. The best part: a week later they submitted a claim for services they had not performed. Yes, that's right, they wanted to be paid for the cleaning and fluoride treatment they did not perform. I will be finding another dentist FAST! This was one shady experience.
This is the worst experience I've ever had at any" professional place of business". I was referred there by my dental insurance provider... The first visit was OK except for I felt the dentist is not listening to me. But I still need dental work done so I entered into a contract with them. To pull my wisdom teeth and for a teeth cleaned. When I went for the wisdom tooth extraction they tried to charge me for xrays that I had already paid for! Then they insisted that I would absolutely have to have a bone graft or the or the orthodontist would not pull my wisdom teeth( another $400)... So needless to say I was very upset about that. Today I went back for my cleaning that I already contracted for and paid for. And they tried to charge me again today for something that I had already paid for. When I became upset and ask for a receipt showing all the things that I had already paid for. They became nasty and irate. Calling me all kinds of swear words. I told them I was done with their services and I would be finding a new dentist and I would like a refund for the services that they have not provided. They informed me that I signed a contract and they do not have to give me any refund or do anything else for me. So basically she told me they have every right to steal from me at anytime they wish. And if I don't like it there's nothing you can do about it because before they treated me they made me sign a contract. That says in fine print that you can not file a lawsuit. This place is nothing but a bunch of scam artist... Because after I went home and looked at my copay schedule. The cleaning that I paid for was supposed to be no cost to me because it is covered by my insurance. So they were trying to charge me twice for something that is free.
