Unfortunately, the office is not as patient-centric as one would think, considering that their primary client demographic is school-aged children. They are totally closed on Fridays, and from December 19 to January 5! It is extremely difficult if not impossible to get appointments outside school hours, meaning you have to choose academics or a nice smile. I regret choosing this orthodontist. We have spent more than $6,000 on two phases of orthodontia for one child, and they cannot find a time to remove her braces except Monday through Thursday during school hours.

Dr. Forrest is a great orthodontist, but the front desk staff is HORRIBLE. They are so rude. At one point I was actually told to stop 'acting dumb and listen.' All I needed was help rescheduling!! After that, and even saying my situation that I have limited availability because I am way at college, the woman began to find appointment dates i TOLD her I was not available. I love Dr. Forrest, but his staff needs a bit more education and they need to learn how to treat their guests.

Dr. Forrest is a very good Orthodontist. However, he is also a big kid. He has a gazillion horse power 2010 Camaro, He is a religious UT football tailgater. His office is like a high tech teen club. I have had two of my kids go through the process and a third just starting. His work is as good as it gets. In fact I don't think there are very many orthodontists that have the patients per year that he does. He has seen it all and knows his craft. The kids like him (because his is a big kid) and when I see him in the community he is friendly and approachable. He sponsors many of the junior high school events and school dances and supports the Katy community across the board. Dr. Forrest is da bomb! He is the top Katy orthodontist for a reason. His football loyalties are somewhat misguided (Go Aggies!) though.:)

Dr. Forrest and his staff were nothing less than impressive. I have visted other dentist and orthodontics in the Katy area and they were good but Dr. Forrest and his staff seem to have an interest in your progress. Also they are courteous of your time and the wait is very minimal.
