Dr Kujawa is hands down the worst doctor I have ever seen in my entire life! He's incredibly rude, dishonest, and is everything you wouldn't expect from a doctor. First off the information on his website was not current and took me to a hospital that he worked at almost a year ago! When I called his office to get his new address, the woman who answered just gave me the same wrong address. I asked to speak to someone else and she hung up on me. I ended up missing my appointment but decided to take another chance on Kujawa because a good friend of the family recommended him so highly after having knee replacement surgery. I had just moved to Texas and the doctors I had seen before the move took x rays, an MRI and wanted me to see a specialist to discuss possible knee replacement surgery. I'm a fit 21 year old man, and this information came as quite a shock to me. I went to see Dr Kujawa with my brother around September of 2014. We sat in the waiting room for I kid you not 2 hours! The office was not busy and this was outrageous. We thought at times the receptionist had forgotten to inform Dr Kujawa that we were here to see him. Finally they take us back and ask to see my x ray's and MRI assuming I brought them with me. I did not bring them with me as I had my previous doctor send them to his office. They somehow lost the information my doctor sent to them, which resulted in another half hour wait in the waiting room. Finally Dr Kujawa comes in without even acknowledging us and refused to shake either my hand or my brother's hand when he walked in. He began with a very piss poor examination, barely touching my knees. The entire 5 minute examination was just him watching me sitting up and down. He noticed I wear Vibram five finger shoes, that I've been using as part of my physical therapy and have had amazing results with. He claims that all of my problems are based on the shoes I was wearing. He hands me a $10 coupon with his name on it to a local running store that I assume he gets a payback from, and tells me to go buy some very expensive running shoes and that all my problems will be fixed. I asked him to please address the tumor found in my right knee cap and to please look over my x ray and MRI again. He only takes a split second to look it over and says once again that running shoes are the answer. As he leaves the room he turns around and says to my brother and I "Sorry I ruined your day by telling you what you don't want to hear". We left his office wasting over 4 hours of our time. This man is a terrible doctor, I can't believe he's allowed to practice medicine! I then found another doctor online by the name of Yury Sless located at 1650 Lockhill Selma RD in San Antonio. Dr Sless gave me my life back. He actually took the time to look over my results and suggested a knee scope on my right knee to get a better idea of what was going on. Guess what? He found a problem! He was able to fix everything he saw wrong with my knees, without having to resort to knee replacement surgery! I'm in month one of my recovery process and after having $40,000 worth of surgery on my two knees, I feel as if I'm getting my life back to me. Dr Yury Sless is a genius, Dr Kujawa could learn a thing or two from him. Do not go to see this quack! Save yourself a headache, and give Dr Sless a call!
