Northshore Emergency Center
Reviews
Worst ER i have ever been to! Will no recommend it to anyone who wants proper care. I wasnt seen by the doctor; only the nurse came in administered some medication and wrapped my wrist. Told me im free to go. I wasn't asked if i had insurance. Was offered a prescription I'm allergic to and they withdrew the script and told me to leave. Will never be back. Going to fight the bill tooth and nail saying i didn't receive proper care!
went this morning. no one in front of us. we were treated very courteously and very promptly. just need to followup with my doctor. loved having them here. did CAT scan and EKG since i was exhibiting numbness and dizziness.
Scam: Northshore Emergency Center bills as an Emergency Room but daughter just went for an Antibiotic prescription. No other care needed and we were billed for Level 3 care for over $1,100 for a 30 minute visit. WARNING: They can say whatever level they want from 1 to 6 and bill your insurance or medicaid and no one would notice. We pay out of pocket for medical care so it was glaring what they were doing. She was a Level 1 at best and they billed for Level 3 and got caught doing it. I consider this the worst medical operation in the Corpus Christi Texas area. Stay Away.
I have had to use this facility at least three times in the last 6 months. Once for a broken nose, and twice for viral pneumonia for both my 11 yr old son and myself. The wait was only minutes before we were taken to a room. Twice, the doctor met us in the room to find out what was wrong before we could even sit down. The staff was extremely eager to help and gave us compassion and attention. They also provided us with options for treatments, based on cost, because I did not have insurance at the time. The front desk staff even sent a request for a discount to the billing office bc she knew i did not have insurance. I am not sure what the previous reviewers problem was, but please do not judge them by that one review. Like I said, we have been there 3 times in 6 months and the staff was amazing all 3 times.
Go to a regular hospital instead.
