I live in Alamo Ranch and have been going to the same dentist for the past 10+ years. I was referred to Dr. Chavez by a friend due to the fact my dentist could not perform a root canal on a difficult tooth. Dr. Chavez was able to perform the very difficult task of performing the work and keeping me pain free. I will continue to drive past all of the other dentist and all the way to Spring Branch from now on.

Trying to stay within my dental insurance providers, I had approximately 10 different dentists in 40 years. After another brief examination with another local dentist, he said all was fine and asked if I ever considered straightening my bottom front teeth. I obtained a second opinion as these particular teeth had cracks in them that could be seen with the naked eye. I had 40 year old crowns of about 8 different dull shades – some had been drilled through to do root canals, cavities, bleeding, discolored gums and pain. At Spring Branch Dental, Dr. Chavez performed a thorough initial examination. He showed me his findings on screen and in my mouth, explained in terms I understood and offered several recommendations as well as a discount. I was able to make an educated decision on my path forward. Spring Branch Dental's top-notch staff always makes me comfortable, feeling like I am among friends instead of being at the dentist. Today, I have a bright, uniform and healthy smile! It’s true, he does focus on my care instead of my insurance deductible. Recently moved to the area with a good dental history and was due for a six month check up and cleaning. My initial visit lasted 2 1/2 hours and I was told that I needed some extensive dental work and was requested to make another visit to discuss the details. I was given a written Proposed Treatment Plan for seven teeth which included, replacing 5 fillings / composites and 2 crowns. The proposed treatment totaled over $5,000 and I was advised by Dr. Jairo Chavez that several of the teeth were "high priority" and should be done soon. I was so surprised and concerned, since I was not experiencing any dental problems, that I sought a second opinion from another nearby dentist. Within 20 minutes, the second dentist took a set of x-rays, examined my teeth and determined that "my teeth were in good condition and no work was needed". I would certainly not recommend Dr. Jairo Chavez to anyone.

I am very happy to have Dr. Chavez as my Dentist. The profesionalism and care he has for his patients is very impressive. The fist time I went to see him I was very concerned about having a molar removed, I had heard horror stories regarding extractions, but Dr. Chavez put me at ease by explaining the procedure to me and answering my questions, his confidence and concern for my comfort was unequalled in my years of receiving dental care elsewhere. The procedure went very smoothly with no pain and, just to top it off, it didn't cost me a fortune. The staff at Spring Branch Dental Care are also friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Chavez to anyone!

I traveled over 400 miles to visit Dr. Chaves, he has been my Dentist for a long time and I just can't go anywhere else! I had a lot of issues with my teeth over the years and tried many doctors until I met Dr. Chavez after that I could not work with anyone else, even after I moved to west Texas and visited other dentists I end up coming back to him, long drive but worth it.! His staff is very professional and courteous, they are the best team! Thank you Dr. Chaves and staff!! My smile is back!
