My only desire is to go to a place and feel that I am being helped. Not saying they don't help it just seems that they are too busy. My only problem is I wish there was a place for people that are really out of shape section and a people that are there for fun section. Because it already is hard to get back in shape but for someone one who is already struggling with appearance issues it is hard to go in there with all those people looking at you and work out. I just need help. Maybe I need a Dr. because this is messing with my head.

I love my gym. They have a great two month orientation program that really got me into using the gym regularly. The gym is clean and the classes are great. It is more expensive than Golds, but I think you pay for what you get. So if it is in your budget, you should totally check it out.

Very happy as a member of ACAC. We joined years ago, and have always had a pleasant experience in their clubs.

Love my gym

Joined a month ago...the gym is filled with abercrombie clones during the daytime. You know designer headbands/tees type that dont have a clue how to workout. Free weights are lacking...the flooring is completely wrong...some sort of hard ruggedized linoleum which makes it nearly impossible to drop a dumbbell from 4 inches off the floor without the entire gym turning around. On the positive side, the non free weight equipment is excellent and if youre into stuff like yoga and pretend boxing youll love it. Not built for meat heads at all...stick to Golds i guess if your idea of working out includes off the wall novelties like the deadlift, squat or decline bench press. Havent been to the Albemarle Sq location in years but it used to at least be more meat-head friendly...so this review applies to the downtown gym only.
