I agree with the other reviews here - Dr. is punctual, does cleanings himself rather than supervising an army of dental hygienists, doesn't push costly interventions, and is knowledgeable. He doesn't treat children, only teenagers and up. But he was willing to treat my 18 year old because she's not difficult, and she doesn't have dental issues that would require a pediatric dentist.

Pulled out a filling while flossing and was having some sensitivity in the tooth as well as being panicked because it had never happened before! I am new to the area and hadn't yet established dental care. Dr. Spano and his entire office staff were wonderful. They were able to accommodate me the day of. After identifying the issue, Dr. Spano even replaced the filling for me during the visit. I was very happy with the service and will continue to go see Dr. Spano now that I am a Charlottesville resident. Amazing experience, highly recommend.

Dr. Spano is the BEST! Amazing service from all his staff. When my son fell and really banged up his teeth pretty bad, Dr. Spano came in on a holiday weekend to take care of him!!! Fantastic! Also my husband had a root canal and loved that they do sedation dentistry if requested.

I highly recommend Dr. Brad Spano. He is the only dentist to suggest and provide a painless, quick and economical and wonderful method of closing my front teeth gap and a crooked tooth. Others wanted me to purchase Invisalign, but Dr. Spano corrected my problem with bonding. Now I have an absolutely beautiful smile, with my front teeth shaped to perfection! He was like an artist during the procedure, making minute adjustments to satisfy his own standard and made me happier with the result than I could ever even imagine. I love every member of his staff, as well ... very friendly, very caring, very professional. Thank you, Dr. Spano, for your expertise and for caring for me!

Dr. Spano was recommended to me by 2 friends of mine in Charlottesville. They said he was caring, kind, and stellar at what he does. Boy were they right! It's difficult to like the dentist, but at South Side Dental... not so much :) Thanks Dr. Spano!
