Minor Emergency & Family Care: big city medical care with that small town family practice feel. I have been a patient of Dr. McDermott's for 15 years and seen him at several locations over that time. The Minor Emergency & Family Care location has been by far the best and most consistent experience I have had with my medical appointments/visits. Whether scheduled appointment or walking in, wait times are well within reason. The office staff is devotedly efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The health professionals are always knowledgeable, genuine, and compassionate. This office is the most family friendly from front office to back office I have ever been to. I was treated with respect and kindness, and felt like the DR really tried to figure out what was causing me to be sick, as other doctors just gave me precriptions and sent me on my way.
