Reception called to change appointment 2x,.. as his other 2 patients before me had canceled. I had to switch all my other Dr. appointments to accommodate this constant change of plans. No problem. Reception said she would put aside 2 appointment slots as I needed some major work done. Happy to do so,...arrived 7 mins late and was told by the Doctor (who was sitting in the receptionist chair) that I was late and that his other patients would have to wait because of my being late and that he isnt going to make his patients wait. I had 2 time slots put aside, and he could have done 1/2 the work that day, and half another,... as if my 7 minutes of lateness was such an issue. His attitude, and need to be in authority as he spoke to me, was so unprofessional and with such hostility I was in shock. I couldn't believe I was in Vermont. I thought I was in Westchester Ny. He had the nerve to ask me to make another appointment. What a joke. I said I would call at a later date to do so,.. and left. Funny thing was,...he is in Townsend, Vermont. A place where most do not have dental insurance or have lower income families that do not frequent the dentist unless there is an emergency; which most uninsured end up going to Grace Cottage hospital for. His view is he's important and is the only one who can help you. Many people I have spoke to in the area said he is rude, "weird", has "huge hands" or "odd" and so people would rather travel farther, then to bother with some guy who has 2 offices and thinks he is gods gift to Vermont. Your a dentist, not a surgeon from Dartmouth. If you have a cavity I've been told he does do cavities...like any other dentist known to man,.......but if your looking for someone to really get your teeth worked on and spend serious money like I was prepared to do,..make sure your dentist is personable and professional .....and understands 7 minutes late, being stuck behind a Lee Land Grey bus,...just happens in Vermont. Snow happens in Vermont. Life happens in Vermont. If I thought it was just me, or I was the only one who had an issue with this dentist, I would not write the review,.......but it's not JUST me who have said negative things about his personality and professionalism. "Country Doctor with a Flat-Lander personality". Just my opinion.
