Arrived Deer Park Urgent Care with chest and back pain. Staff unable to login to laptop for EKG. Why isn't that software always ready during normal "Urgent" business hours? Nurse spoke on cell phone and 30 minutes later finally logged in. Nurse attached electrodes and then could not get EKG software to run properly. After an hour it was deemed pointless to continue. Doctor came in and asked 2-3 questions. Concerned about heart. Did not touch patient. Told to go to hospital. Left 90 minutes after arrival without diagnosis and drove to Spokane hospital. Had I been near cardiac arrest this event could have led to a fatality. If time is possibly critical to your health, as it could have been for me, do not waste it in Deer Park Urgent Care. Spokane hospitals are merely 25 minutes away.
