I have been going to this dentist since 2011. Both my husband and I go 4 times a year for dental maintenance. The service has always been good but this year the billing practices and polices have significantly deteriorated. I have been overcharged several times and have had services added to my bill that I didn't ask for and wasn't told that there was an extra charge for those extra services. Bills come in the mail without explanation or detailed charges after I thought I had already paid at the office. Questions about bills are met with a surly attitude. My husband and I have lost confidence that we are being charged fairly and correctly. We are going to another dentist for our dental maintenance.
Stanwood Dental Care is comprised of a superior team with the goal of serving the client. This is not a marketing slogan - this is exactly what they do. I despised going to the dentist before meeting the team at Stanwood Dental Care. I was afraid and had general aversion toward dentists. This has changed after a couple visits. EVERY team member are consistently working toward the same goal -- serving their client. This is without exception. I really despise Google+ for a variety of reasons - I chose to sign up only to share my positive experience with others. If you have concerns of any kind related to dental care schedule a meeting with Dr. Shawn. He and his team truly care. I went 20 years without visiting the dentist due to some really bad experiences. After a couple visits I trust these people completely. Give them a chance - be honest. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain. I am so grateful to the team at Stanwood Dental Care that I come across as a paid evangelist. Perhaps you will understand if you give them some time and talk.
Stanwood Dental care is friendly and professional beginning at the recepetion desk, the dental hygenist and lastly the dentist.
My Family of 5 have been loyal customers of Stanwood Dental Care for 8 years. I recently needed to cancel my appointment and the receptionist informed my that it would be a 50 dollar fee for not calling within 48 hours before the appointment. Even though it was a 30 hour notice. I can not believe that in today's economy any dentist office would charge for rescheduling an appointment. Between my insurance and my wallet I have paid this establishment enough money of the last 8 years. I informed the receptionist that I am canceling my children's April appointment now and I hope this enough time for them, also my family will not be going back EVER! She simply replied "Let us know where to send the dental records when you find someone else". This dental office has failed in all customer service aspects. When a customer is unhappy, fix it. After all, they are providing you with a paycheck. I am currently looking for another dentist office and will continue to inform my family, friends and anyone else that will listen to stay far away from Stanwood Dental Care because to them you are only a avenue to collect money. Even on days you cant make it.
