Cathedral Square Urgent Care Center
Reviews
Myself, my son and husband have been going to this urgent care facility for years, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is always efficient and courteous, and I've never had to wait too long. I've also never felt I or anyone else in my family was misdiagnosed, which is saying a lot, since they saw my son through his daycare and kindergarten years when he was getting everything under the sun. As a bonus, they've got an on-site PT, who I also know through experience is excellent. There's a small parking lot on the side of the building for easy in and out. Thank you to this staff for helping shepherd my family through many a medical issue!
Coming in at the latest time just before closing on a Friday night, I received excellent advice and good care. With my back in muscle spasm, the doctor took the time to not only prescribe medicines I could buy right there, but he also told me about MBT shoes and how wearing them could lead to the back, foot, and hip solutions I need. He shared how this had helped him also! The RN took the time to get me through the med-machine and to give me the warning to always eat with the meds prescribed. The receptionist was kind and did not interrupt my reading of the Bible while I waited for a few minutes for good and compassionate treatment. I think the reality is that prior negative-reviews written by others should be ignored!!!!
The receptionist is rude and dehumanizing. I agree with the other person who posted about the people here being self-interested. I couldn't have described it better. I went there to be treated and the doctor couldn't have cared less about my well being and sent me along with a prescription for antibiotics. There was no proper examination of anything or any explanation - it was just like "here, see if this works. I don't know, maybe it will, maybe it won't". I got a hefty bill a few weeks later. I can't believe they charge people money for this! Do not go here! These people just want your money and nothing else!
I don't know what these other experiences are about, but I recently cut my finger at work and required 4 stitches. The staff was friendly and courteous even though I walked in 5 minutes before they were closing. I never had stitches before so I was pretty nervous, but it was fast and pretty painless and the doctor told me a pretty amusing story about how he got stitches. I just went back to get the stitches removed and had the same doctor, another quick and painless experience. I'll defiantly go back to this location, hopefully I never have to though!
It's nice when a medical profession tells you to take over the counter medication that said on the bottle, do not take if you have any of the following. Checked with both my primary physician and pharmacist who advised not to take it. I am not going back here again. Also completely the wrong diagnoses, got into my doctor three days later. Thanks for nothing
