Amazing results, highly recommended I'd be the first to admit that I have no idea how or why acupuncture works, but it undeniably does work and Dr. Kim is as good as it gets. I have had three occasions to try acupuncture each time pretty much as a last ditch recourse to manage pain after injury or surgery and each time it has worked. The last two times has been with Dr. Kim, who is a charming soft spoken consummate professional who specializes in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. If you haven't tried acupuncture before don't worry...it, perhaps surprisingly, doesn't really hurt. Typically all you feel is a slight tap as the hair thin needle goes in. It's a bit odd but not weird or painful. Then just lay there for half an hour or so and listen to your iPod. He doesn't take insurance (not mine anyway) and acupuncture isn't included on many programs so you will be paying about $60 per session yourself. In my case that was a small price to reduce or eliminate persistent nagging pain which was resistant to all but the strongest pain meds....and who wants to live on pain meds? I have found the results dramatic and pretty much immediate, if you are living with pain or some other condition which might be addressed by acupuncture and are looking for a specialist to make it work for you, you should certainly try Dr. Kim.

After seeing all the good reviews about this acupuncturist, I called the clinic to find out whether he treats frozen shoulder, which I currently am suffering with, and then to make an appointment. Fortunately, he answered the phone himself. He said that acupuncture treatments can relieve the pain. Since the frozen shoulder cause the formation of scar tissue in the shoulder, which makes the shoulder joint's capsule, thicken and tighten, the orthopedic surgery usually involves removing the scar tissue. So I asked Mr. Kim whether the acupuncture treatment is for just pain management or it treats the scar tissue. His response is unprofessional and rude, "Obviously, you don't know anything about needle treatment. If you want to learn, please come to my office." Then, he hung up the phone. What does he expect from patients - extensive knowledge about acupuncture before we see him? I don't appreciate his condescending attitude.

I honestly do not have words to described how WONDERFUL Dr.Kim is, he sure knows exactly what he is doing. He got me to walk once again, I had a compression fracture and I was told I was not going to walk for the next year 1/2, but Dr Kim PROVEN them wrong I was able to walk within 3 month after I went to see him, i TRUST Dr.Kim I have been seeing him for the last 3 years I go to him for EVERYTHING. LOVE HIM and I am so thankful for putting him into my way. Don't hesitate to come and see him you will LOVE HIM too!

I have never had the results as quickly with my chronic back problems as I have with Dr. Kim. In my 20 years of off and on treatment by other doctors using acupuncture, my treatment by Dr. Kim was the most expedient and exacting. His knowledge and professionalism is beyond expectation.

I brought my 9 year old son to see Dr. Hyung Kim for a chronic digestive disorder that diet alone would not correct. Initially my son was worried about the needles but he actually giggled at the tingling sensation. Before the 8 acupuncture sessions were completed, my don's bowel movements became regular and consistent, he began to sweat after exercise for the first time, his fatigue lessened and his chronic thirst dissipated. Dr. Kim has a warm and caring disposition and made my son very comfortable during each visit. I highly recommend Dr.Kim for all ages. Of course, acupuncture was the swiftest and most gentle form of treatment for my son. Thank you Dr.Kim.
