My first introduction to ATI/Rockford was in late fall of 2012. I had so much pain in my arthritic hip that my level of motion was terrible. After about 12 weeks of therapy, plus doing prescribed at home exercises, even my orthopedist was surprised at the mobility I had after working with the Rockford staff. This winter, 2014, I was experiencing pain in my foot which my therapist & I determined was probably plantar fasciitis. I could hardly walk without pain. My therapist gave me a regimen of six exercises that I was to do 2-3 times a day for two weeks. I must admit that the first few days the pain did not subside; but after a full week, I found relief. I did complete the two week regimen & have had almost no trouble since. I do find that wearing sandals may cause a little discomfort; but I just do a couple of the exercises & that solves the problem. The whole staff, from the receptionist to all the physical therapists, are always happy, so very welcoming, make a client feel like the only person there. They're great 'cheerleaders' and always encouraging to their clients. I can't say enough about how happy I am that I found them. They are great!
