I REALLY wish that I had read these reviews before I sent my husband here. He has an injury that will require a few stitches. I know that going to an Urgent Care would be cheaper than going to an emergency room. I go online and see that you can check in online using ZIPPASS. I checked my husband in for a 1:45 time slot, which was the next available time (it was noon when I registered him). My husband goes in at 1:30 and the employee at the front desk said they don't honor those appointments and that he will have to wait about two and a half hours for someone to see him. When he inquired as to why they do not honor this, she only shrugged her shoulders. This is NOT acceptable! The ZIPPASS is ALL OVER your Facebook page and your official website. So now my husband is going elsewhere. Had we known you couldn't check in online, he would have immediately arrived at the location and waited it out. Instead, he's waited almost two hours for an appointment that was never honored. We will take our business elsewhere.
I was urged to use this office as my primary doc, though I mentioned to them that I have chronic conditions and asked if they would be able to manage those with me. I was assured yes, this won't be a problem. I am an informed patient with illnesses that go back several years, so I know what does and doesn't work for me. They made me wait over 45 minutes, taking back patients for the urgent care despite the fact that I had a real appointment. Once back there, I was rushed through the appointment, so naturally I forgot something. I called back and the nurse hardly speaks English well enough to answer me or understand my questions. I had to repeat myself over and over, and she still got my information wrong. Two hours of waiting and no one returned my call, so I called them back - only to find out they are closed. Utterly ridiculous! I am going straight back to my old doctor- I would rather ride in the car for 40 minutes and get REAL medical care than get screwed around by this place anymore. Totally unreasonable... and this wasn't even the time that I waited for over an hour because they "forgot" that I was there on a primary visit and left me in the queue with the other urgent care patients.
I went here when i broke my hand, and there medical equipment carrier Elite Care would not take my blue cross and blue shield of NC insurance. So they decided to charge me 92 dollars for a sling that one could obtain from CVS for 5 dollars. In essence, Elite Care price gouges there clients and does not tell fastmed how much the slings will cost until the patients use them!
My wife tells the doc she is allergic to z pack. What does she prescribe? Z Pack. If it wasnt for me looking at the packaging, we would be at the hospital. Good work fastmed.
Every employee here was so nice and helpful. They really listened to me and tried their best to help me. The office was so nice and clean, and this location is so convenient to my apartment. Dr. Debbie Rutledge-Hold was just wonderful and so helpful. I will definitely keep this place in mind if I ever need a fast clinic again. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone. Wonderful service!
