I am on my forth pair of hearing instruments. All purchased at Coast Hearing in Newport. I find that the staff sensitive to my problems and dedicated to giving me the best possible results. Jeff and Keith work hard at providing their clients with the best possible fit and aftercare. Jeff and Keith have proven themselves many times over to be honest and up front business people. They know what they are doing. If a problem arises, Jeff will pick up the phone in my presence and call the factory in order to get the problem solved instead of trying to bluff his way to an answer. I have been wearing hearing aids for 52 years, have graduate education in Audiology, and have done audio engineering; so I know what I need and want in hearing aids. Finding a hearing aid dealer/fitter who can meet those needs has at times been challenging, but no longer. The absolute master of hearing aid fitting is Jeff Gardner. I have not found another person in Oregon or Arizona who understands how to use the modern fitting tools to customize hearing aids to a users needs who equals Jeff's knowledge and skills. Modern hearing aids programmed by a computer are capable great personalization. However, the person doing the programming must clearly understand the users needs and how the hearing aid can be programmed to meet those needs. Jeff has demonstrated outstanding knowledge and skill in this area. Having tried, unsuccessfully, to get a pair of Phonak aids programmed to my needs by an audiologist in another state, I am just so delighted and satisfied to have found Jeff Gardner. I now have hearing aids that have dramatically enhanced my ability to use the telephone, to actually hear people on television, and to hear people in crowded, noisy envioronments and understand what they are saying.
