Good prices and a hell of a selection among many different product categories. I've been a fan of this store for a long time. Shampoos, soaps, herbs, vitamins, healthy and tasty beverages, Indian food and other Asian food items or you can buy yourself some ballpoint pens and ibuprofen. In a store like this, it is best if you leave your credit cards at home and only bring the cash you intend on spending because that $30 you might intend on spending might end up to be $75 or more, they have a lot of good product. I forgot, they don't do the credit card thing.
I have a horrible case of vertigo and had called the Drug Emporium pharmacy ahead of time to make sure my medication was ready as I felt I only had one ten minute drive in me. When I got there it was not reat and I was beyond angry and sick. I called the store manager, Clayton, who just happens to be the same store manager from ten years ago when I worked there as a teenager, and he paid for the medication himself and drove it to my home for me. Now THAT is customer service.
I have shopped at Drug Emporium for over 15 years. You cannot beat their prices. Their cosmetics section has brands you cannot find elsewhere like e.l.f., prestige, and the price is CHEAP for the quality. Many items are under $3. There are also items in the Vitamins Plus section that you can't find anywhere else including a large collection of Burt's Bees. The people that work in the Vitamins Plus area really know their stuff. They can recommend products for practically any health issue you may have. I've never been disappointed.
Great Store, great prices
Despite the little things, like slight discrepancies in the pricing, or that they don't take credit card, sucks. But their health food section in the back of the store is priced cheaper than anywhere else in the area! The staff is generally pretty nice, and it's unpretentious and doesn't pretend to be anything other than it is. Go check it out, you'll be surprised.
