I already had my RX from another doctor. I called another place to find out pricing, and although the receptionist said the correct courteous words (i.e. Thank you for calling... and Have a nice day), her tone of voice sounded condescending, and like she was bored. The prices were good, but I wasn't satisfied with the service it sounded like I would receive. I then called Vision Source, was greeted by an energetic and polite young lady, and decided right then that I would rather give my service to them! I had an appt to get the correct lenses ordered and was treated great. I took my glasses back in today to get the lenses put in my frames and got my glasses back in an hour! Each time I have dealt with anyone there, they have always provided courteous service, and seem to want to please customers! I appreciate great service, particularly when customer service has gone downhill in most places!
They cancelled my first appointment about 2 hours before I was scheduled to be there. When I was 9 minutes late for an appointment that I rearranged my entire schedule for, they would not see me! The receptionist coolly told me that they had another appointment scheduled and the best I could do would be to wait and hope they could work me in. Really? I have spent 1000s of dollars here on myself and my 3 boys. We will all be transferring to a new eye doctor.
I called to make an appt on 6/6 and was scheduled for 4:20 and was told to be there at 4:00 on 6/14. I got a text message on 6/7 to confirm my appt for 6/14 at 4:20 which i confirmed. Then i received another text today 6/13 to confirm my appt which again i did. Then later today i received a phone call from a "Kaci" to notify me that they had me registered but no appt was made??? So she was calling to see what time my appt was which i told her 6/14/ at 4:20 and I had already asked off from work. Then she says that they could get me in Friday 6/15 at 8 or 12 to which i told her i could not because i had already asked off and that friday we have a mandatory staff meeting... before i could tell her about these text messages she cut me off and said " I know i am not going to get you in that day. I can get you in friday" Needless to say I will not be going back she was rude and before i could explain she cut me off. Why in the world would they send 2 text messages with the time and date but yet she says that they don't even have me down??
Dr. Jones and Dr. Thornton are THE best eye doctors I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and having care for us. I thoroughly enjoy going to see them and always make my family feel special and valued. Not to mention that they really know their profession and are always educating me when I visit. Keep up the great work!
Love the doctors... fantastic service from them. However, the people answering the phone are not the nicest, and seem like they don't like their job. Not extremely helpful, and I ended up having to correct them a few times regarding incorrect information they were trying to give me. I think they may have just been trying to get me off the phone, but all I was trying to do was get an appointment! Beware that if you are calling for anything more than simply accepting whatever time and day they mention, you may become frustrated with the lack of helpfulness on the other end of the phone. This is the first review I have ever written, and felt the need to inform others that yes, you may get frustrated on the phone with the receptionist, but the doctors are wonderful.
