Walmart Supercenter

Every experience in this store is a bad one. It doesn't matter whether it is in the Pharmacy, grocery, electronics or other areas. Lots of items contain no prices and the ones that do have prices, you better check, or it will ring up differently, when you check out. Checking the prices is another problem, because there is only 1 (one) scanner that works, and that is in the baby department. The employees all seem very unhappy to be there and that carries over to their attitude when waiting on you. Even though this is the closest Walmart to me, I make every effort to use other Walmarts farther away, because I have never had a good experience here and always come home upset, when I shop here.
Horrible experience (again) at Walmart on Estes Parkway in Longview. Waited at jewelry counter for a good ten minutes waiting on someone to come work the jewelry department. There was a woman in Walmart uniform on other side of counter with her headpiece on. I asked her if she worked in that department and she said "no, I'll get someone for you". Well, someone NEVER came. I left and went and got a few groceries, returned to jewelry counter...still no employee. A nice woman was waiting there in hopes of getting a watch battery. She said she had been told someone would be there shortly and she finally gave up and vowed to never go to that Walmart again. I checked out and asked the young woman checking me out to please page someone to work the jewelry department. She did not. I looked over at the Customer Service desk and there were five employees and no customers. Manager on duty at time is named Jimmy Wyatt. I called and he was non-apologetic...just said "there is someone working in the jewelry department now". I called main office and filed a complaint. I never like for anyone to lose their job...but in this case, there are several people who are being paid for doing absolutely NOTHING and there are a lot of people that would be grateful to have their job. My name is Belinda Brunson (post will show my husband's name)
The people who run this store are morons... I went to return a bathing suit TOP that was too small. I still had the receipt and the tag for the item. They refused to allow the return pointing to a hand made sign talking about sanitary issues with lingerie and swim suits...I understand not allowing returns for bottoms, but a TOP?!? I went online to look at Walmart's return policy and sure enough this made up policy was nowhere to be found! I called this store back and spoke with a manager, Pam. Pam was holding fast to this made up policy until I used moron logic to explain why my bathing suit TOP should be accepted since it in no way posed a sanitary curdled couche smelling health risk. She told me to come back to the store to, "see what they could do" I said I would come back to the store and they would return my perfectly resellable item...MORONS
Worst Wal-Mart I've ever been to. The pharmacy routinely calls you in for prescriptions that don't exist when you get there. It's literally every other time that they either don't have it, they claim to not have talked to the doctor, haven't received a fax, etc. Their turnover is atrocious so the management must be equally poor. The cashiers give you nothing but attitude. The deli ignores you. They don't greet you, nor do they return greetings. The registers are dirty half the time. A family member of mine actually got a concussion which she ended up having to pay $1000 out of pocket for even though it was due to their worker's negligence. Lawyers say it's no use trying to recoup medical bills because you'll just end up paying more to fight them. Their candies are frequently melted together. I've bought Charleston Chews and Skittles from them and they have been completely melted together right after leaving the store. For this reason I steer clear of any perishables sold at this location. I exchanged skittles one time for some from a completely different bin with the same result. Two weeks later I was dumb enough to think the problem had been resolved after reporting the issue. Of course I got the same sticky mess. Occasionally someone nice will help you out there, but they are by far the exception. I can't wait for a pharmacy or a competitor to open a store on this end of town.
Worst walmart in Columbus by far...lines are always long. Never enough cashiers. An awful shopping experience.
