Hollingsworth Family Eye Care
Reviews
Dr. Hollingsworth has a very efficient office. Every staff member makes sure you are not sitting and waiting on them. if one assistant is busy with another person there is another assistant continuing with your proceedure. All of them know exactly what to do and they do it very well. Dr. Hollingsworth is efficient and very helpfull with his explinations of what he sees and the treatment suggested to correct the issue. He is soft spoken and very calming when explaining the issues and treatment needed. If he is not equiped for the treatment he refers you to the best specialist that can help you. I am very pleased to have this office my main eye care office.
I usually don't write reviews but Dr. Hollingsworth and his team were so great that I felt compelled to write something. I had three seperate appts in 3 weeks because of some weird eye issues and everyone treated me with extreme kindness and bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. After I got new contacts that didn't feel quite right, I scheduled a followup appt and Dr. Hollingsworth quickly figured out that the problem was caused by the new Claritin allergy pills I started taking after I got my new contacts. Great detective work and I left feeling great. That same week I got some really really bad red eyes due to allergies. I thought it might be pink eye so I called on Sunday and they fit me in at 9 am on monday even though they were already booked. Dr. Hollingsworth and his team were great once again and I left with some new prescription eye drops that solved the problem right away. Dr. Hollingsworth and his team are top notch.
Dr. Hollingsworth is one of the most proficient yet friendly optometrists I have ever used. His staff is also proficient and friendly. It is a pleasure to visit his office. I heartily recommend him and his staff.
Unless you like sitting in the doctors office waiting for your appointment, find another eye doctor as customer service is not the strong point of this office. I called to schedule an appointment and was told the they had an opening in one hour, so I took it. I arrived 10 minutes early as I don't like making anyone wait that has an appointment with me. 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment I got up and walked out of the office. One other person sitting in the waiting room having to wait as well. Can a doctor really not know if he is behind schedule one hour i advance? I think it is just greed. Its not like he is doing surgery and ran into a complication. And even if he is running late (which he should have know when I called 60 minutes earlier) I would think just out of respect he would have his assistant at least acknowledge he was running late and give me an estimate. This would give me the chance to reschedule if necessary. The era of the doc thinking his time is more valuable than mine is over! I left the office and found another doctor the next day who is just wonderful. BTW he is located in another Wal-Mart.
