Sam's Club

Ordered two chairs online for $399.... cheaper than the store price $429.00. The girl that checked me out was unfriendly and when she gave me a total... the price was higher. When I questioned it, she became rude, so I paid, but reviewed the receipt and noticed that I had been charged the full store price. When I showed her the confirmation email i had, she went to speak with her manager. They viewed on their computer and the manager told her to void out and recharge it. However, she went to tell me that SAM's had the right to change the price without notice. The manager validated the statement, but said he would honor it. I asked, well what is the purpose of ordering it online and having it delivered to the store for pick up, if the store will not honor it". He did not have an answer to my question. That girl was not happy. My advise would be to make sure you check the price before you leave the store... I had 65.00 credited back to my card
Cafe is decent. Shopping experience very similar to Walmart - super-sized people pushing you out of the way. Difference between here and Walmart is that here they want you to buy a lifetime supply of cough drops instead of the 10-20 you need. People here are slightly better looking than at Walmart. Doesn't mean much.
Sams would be decent if they would get earpieces for those OBNOXIOUS walkie talkies. They refuse to spend a couple of dollars to improve the shopping experience of the customers.
My husband and I joined because I redeemed credit card points for a membership. As newlyweds, it is important for us to be smart with money so I couldn't turn down a free membership. I was surprised at how nice everyone was to us. The level of customer service at the McKinney location is really great and our expectations were exceeded. The frozen meals I bought were delicious, nutritious and quick and easy! Great for family dinners after a long day. We also liked the cheap pizza combos. Yummy!
I am writing this review to complain about the poor service of the assistant manager in customer service. I was there to return an item that was purchased just a few days ago, was still in its original packing and with its original receipt. The item was given to me as a gift by another store member. The store manager, Joe Williams, refused to return the item, lied to me about the return policy, and would not offer any customer service. I called Sam’s Club hotline and they informed me that the item should have returned and that I had all that was required to complete the transaction. Apparently, this is a repeat incident with this employee. I hope that Sam’s Club will look into the poor working attitude of the said employee and that he is reprimanded for his behavior. This kind of employee will surely impede their business.
