Every time I go there, I have a bad experience! Customer service is awful, the people who stock items are always talking about how bad it is to work there...for all to hear....the customers are not invisible! Some of the people working there talk to each other and make very inappropriate comments for people to hear, sing loudly (perverted song verses) and do not seem to care people are around. All this has happened more than once this past year! I just called to get sore hours for today (Christmas Eve and Friday (Dec 26) and some lady that kept answering was SOOOOO RUDE she would just hang up on me and seemed so annoyed with me. I simply and politely asked her for store hours for today and she said 8 and JUST HUNG UP ON ME. I called back thinking that my phone disconnected us and I got the same awful attitude, and she hung up on me again before I was done... that is when I realized it was her hanging up on me..I called again and she just sounded so rude and hung up on me again. I was shocked..called her back, wished her a blessed day, a Merry Christmas and said thanks for being such a rude lady! This walmart neeeeds a revamping. It is so sad that it is a Mckinney walmart. Should be well kept and the managers should really make sure things are well stocked, areas are clean and working. tooo many negative things I can list but I would be writing a page full. Hopefully someone takes these comments into consideration. I no longer shop at Walmart stores (ALL IN GENERAL) unless I have NO CHOICE because of this.

Called to ask the lady if they carried pellets for a wood burning stove.She said'I dont now I dont used those'...Never will I shop there agian!

IF YOU CAN HELP IT, AVOID THIS PLACE!! Me personally, I will go out of my way to another Walmart , even if its on the other side of town. Doesnt matter! The employees at this location are rude, and have white trash/ghetto mannerisms.When you approach an employee in garden dept who is cashiering and stocking their area, when they see you coming you cant help but feel like you are inconveniencing them . This older lady with white hair in garden department has really pushed my buttons, and amazed me at how she can get hired and keep her job with poor customer service, and almost rude interactions. I always make sure to tell them, "You should smile, its not that bad, is it?' or "You must be having a bad day, huh?" Lets them know, they are hiding their emotions poorly, do better. This is just one example, but I got at least 30 more (seriously! I am from here!) Now that I am able, this location is only when I cant go anywhere else.

Called this branch to place an order with the Bakery Dept. Got the main switch board, asked to be transferred to the bakery, no one answers the phone at the Bakery. This happens 3 times, I was told that they may be out to lunch, this was 3 pm. I asked the receptionist if I wrote a review about this and she laughingly told me that it wouldn't be good. Why would I want to give my business to a place with such poor Customer Service?

Used to be good... But recently, they've been out of staples like lunch meat, cheese and produce. But what actually caused me to write this review was the HORRIBLE state of their 'fresh' meats. Not only did they have expired meat out on the shelves for sale, but recently the meat has been going bad BEFORE the sell-by date. We've wasted a lot of money throwing away meat from this location.
