It's convenient to shop at Fred Meyer because they carry more than groceries. Their prices aren't great except you can save money if you shop their sales. I like their bulk food, dairy selection, organic food and artisan breads. The quality of their produce is mediocre and they seem to have a problem maintaining a consistent supply.

Overall experience is good. If you want to shop locally and just need to buy a quick gift, household items, or check some things off your grocery list, this is a good place to go too! This is the only local store with the largest selection of organic food. I've had a good experience ordering deli meats and cheese from here. However Albertson's usually has better deals on deli meats and cheeses. The variety and number of produce is the best selection out of Safeway and Albertsons. Bread is good here as well as some deserts they have in their bakery section. I would still do a cake or cupcake order at Safeway because it tastes better than Albertsons and Safeway. I would still buy meat at Albertson's because it's a bit pricier here. I haven't ordered any special meat cuts from here though.
