I was told that I was in an M.S. study signed up for a month or so in advance and then received notice a week before that I was on standby after making plans for two days off of work. All good I thought because I was going to be given a "VIP" pass for the next study. I got a call thirty minutes before said study informing me I was "in". I rush up to PPD excited to get my $1000 for two days worth of testing only to be informed three hours later after a third unpaid screening of blood draws and urine samples that I am a "backup" though the papers given to me said there would be eight subjects and only seven of us were there. I decide to wait it out after being promised another VIP pass the next day only to wake up at 6:00am there the next day wait for three more hours and be informed (or probably misinformed at this point) that the next study may or may not even happen and I would have to go through screening ( multiple hours process) again! No thanks, keep your "VIP" pass. Next thing I know they were going to tell me they pay in monopoly money. Total gambit. Fool me once shame on you. I walked out. If you are looking for a quick way to make money this is NOT the way to go. Sorry about the bad news, try online surveys, temp work, pedi-cabbing, Lyft or multiple other wonderful businesses this beautiful city has to offer.

I enjoy this facility and how they handle there subjects. I have never encountered a bad experience will attending over night stays. Great food, comfortable beds, and professional employees.

Huh... and here I thought that being molested by the nurses was a perk to being a lab rat. You just got to close your eyes and enjoy it. Slip a $20 in her panties for a better experience, and they'll feel you up during almost every blood draw. In fact I've gone from having a phobia of needles to it becoming kind of a fetish for me. ;3

I got my wisdom teeth out and got paid $300. Everyone was professional and highly competent. The only annoying thing was the constant urine tests for drugs and the not knowing what medicine you receive for a pain study (i.e. it might be a placebo). But I highly recommend it if you need your wisdom teeth out and don't have dental insurance!
