I visited DC several times recently, first time i have seen a dentist since i was in middle school. And he was kind and took all the right steps, he also said i had 5 cavities and drilled them, and i truly don't think he would of done that unnecessarily (responding to comment) i also made an appointment for a chipped tooth and they were willing to see me that very day. I had an over all good experiences and they call back.
This is the best dentist office in town! Trust me, I have done my research. The doctor that saw me was really gentle with me and she kept asking me if I was feeling pain. I had an extraction done there myself and everyone in my family goes to this office for check-ups and treaments. The experience has been good every single time. This will be the dentist office I'd be going for as long as I live in this town.
I originally rated DC Dental "1 star" because Dr. Jafari was completely unprofessional. When my four year old daughter wouldn't open her mouth immediately he said, "That's it, I'm done." He then proceeded to throw down his tools and storm out of the room. I asked the receptionist if he is that rude to everyone and she informed me that he "just doesn't have patience with children." On 4/13/12, Dr. Jafari called to apologize. I appreciate Dr. Jafari's ability to see his mistake and accept responsibility for his in appropriate actions. After all, we are all human. Prior to the incident on 4/6, my other experiences as an ADULT patient of DC Dental were good. At this time I am changing my rating to a "3," but I would still not recommend this office for children under 8.
Was in desperate need of a dentist on Friday. No other dentist could get me in on short notice. Thank you guys for getting me in last minute. Still sore from root canal, but better than being in pain. See you next week for crown.
I have never had 1 cavity in my whole life. Now that I live in Maricopa I decided it's time to see a local dentist. I have upgraded dental insurance, I work for the state so my insurance is already pretty good, upgraded, I wasn't considering paying anything out of pocket. Next thing I know I have 7 cavities, and my insurance (according to them) will only pay for the metal fillers. In order to get the tooth colored fillings would cost me just about $400. Wait, there is still more. Because the good Dr. Says my teeth quailfy for the second tier of cleaning I would have to pay $70. out of pocket. But wait, don't I have insurance? Well yes, but the Dr. will not do the standard cleaning, even upon request. Makes sense to me when you can steal another $70. from a person. What a rip off. To top if off, the inital lady who sat me down was pretty much laughing at me because I had cavities. Really professional! Go anywhere besides this place!
