Excellence! I had been to another cobbler a couple years ago to resole my favorite pair of Corcoran combat boots. The new soles came off, so I went back. This happened several times. I gave up. I recently decided to give it another shot and went to Charlie's Shoe Repair. He studied the shoes a bit and seemed really disgusted with the previous work done on them. He told me all about how he would do it right, and asked me what kind of sole I want, etc... He sounded really gung ho about it. I was sold, I had good feeling about him. A while later I picked up my shoes and they were beautiful! I was happy to pay the man. I waited a few months to write a review because I wanted to know how durable his work was too. Well, I've had no problems! I was surprised to find my old boots are waterproof again too! This guy is great. Good work, good attitude, just all around good.
